About BBN
Beyond Brazilian Network began as a professional community dedicated to supporting Brazilian architects, engineers, and construction talent building their careers in Australia. Today, we go beyond: while our roots are in the Brazilian experience, our community welcomes AEC professionals of all nationalities.
We connect a diverse, global network through events, moderated chat groups, and practical resources. Beyond individual career growth, we are also a hub for business owners looking to build valuable B2B partnerships, share industry opportunities, and hire top-tier AEC talent.
What we do
BBN is built around real contact. Coffee round-tables and networking nights keep the conversation face-to-face. Topic-specific WhatsApp lists—careers, visas, city groups, marketplace—keep it going between events. Member resources cover the “local blueprint” for integrating into Australian practice, from CVs to workplace etiquette.
Where we gather
We gather regularly in the CBDs of Australia’s major cities. Wherever you land, the aim is the same: to open doors between peers and keep veterans who have already “made it” in the room with those still finding their footing. Check out our Events page to see where we are meeting next and join us!
Who it’s for
Whether you are a student starting out, a skilled specialist, or a business owner leading projects across architecture, design, engineering, project management, MEP, BIM, or the wider AEC supply chain—if you want a community that stays professional without losing the warmth of people who look out for each other, you’re in the right place. Partners and affiliates support that mission so the platform, events, and member benefits keep moving.
